Starting A Small Business in 2018

Starting a small business in 2018, how is it? What does the outlook look like? Is it easier? Harder?
Well, one day in, I can confidently say, its just as hard!
Here at Blue Western, we are currently prepping to ramp up our marketing efforts, mainly due to the fact that at some point after a soft launch, you have to go back and actually do the.. well regular launch. Prepping for that process is difficult because right now it is a lot of cold calls and texts and trying to book photoshoots even though its freezing in OK and no one really wants to be outside.
However, I think we have found some new insights recently, and have been consuming a lot of really good content and information from some entrepreneurs that we love! And I think when we are fully launched in two weeks, we will be on a whole different level of production than we are at right now.
For me especially, looking forward, I hope that 2018 is a year ripe for new beginnings and new challenges. 2017 was a great year for a soft launch, but 2018 seems like it will be a great year to launch our business.
